Your Herbal Wellness Guide
My name is Amy M’Lynn Bennett. I’m a mother, partner, sister, daughter, friend, bodyworker, postpartum doula, sacral steam facilitator, green witch, folk herbalist, creatress, and aspiring wise woman. I was born in west Texas, lived most of my adult life in Colorado, and moved to the gorgeous Texas hill country in December 2021.
For over two decades, I’ve been on a path of service to my community through various healing arts. From 2001-2003 I attended the Art Institutes of both Fort Lauderdale and Denver as a photography student. Then I studied Integrative Therapeutic Practices at Metro State University in Denver, CO and gained a broad overview of complimentary and alternative medicine. This education eventually led me to explore more physical and spiritual healing and wellness modalities in the forms of becoming certified as a Reiki practitioner, Therapeutic Touch practitioner, and Massage Therapist specializing in aromatherapy and pre/postnatal bodies. In November 2019 I achieved my dream of becoming an Arvigo®️ practitioner and providing the healing art of Maya abdominal massage to my clientele.
In 2022 I signed a lease in the Plaza del Sol in Wimberley TX and got to work renovating the space that would eventually become Apothecary 222. I poured myself into the transformation, adding special touches into the finishes from floor to ceiling to create an environment that feels welcoming and supportive. Everyone who comes into the shop remarks “it feels so good in here!” and I couldn’t be more proud to share it with every person who visits.
The mission of Apothecary 222 is to provide a place for the Texas hill country community to receive top notch hands-on healing services as well as shop for organic, holistic, nontoxic items that support all of their health and wellness goals. From clean home fragrance to organic period care, to bulk dried herbs, locally handmade jewelry and lots more, there is something here for everyone and every budget. I only sell high-quality brands that I’ve personally vetted and curated so that you can shop with confidence. Honor Your Sacred Power
Most recently I have been on a mission to show women of all ages how to live in harmony with their menstrual cycles. My goal for deepening my service to the women and girls in my community is to guide as many as I can through their sacred bleeding time and teach them how to harness the power and beauty in each day of their cycle.
